The American Dream
This project represents a turning point in my creative practice. It was the first time I used my work to take a public stance on a political issue. While I have often viewed political beliefs as deeply personal, the events surrounding the ICE raids and the lives that were lost inspired me to create something that reflected my emotional response. Through this piece, I explored how visual storytelling can move beyond observation and become a way to process, question, and communicate moments that demand attention.
Fragmented Attention
The piece explores how focus is continually interrupted by digital stimuli, resulting in an inability to fully complete thoughts or actions. Rather than presenting narrative, the video emphasizes rhythm, repetition, and disruption to immerse the viewer in a state of cognitive dissonance.
Sycamore Baseball
As a Graduate Assistant with Indiana State Athletics, I have had the opportunity to expand my creative skills in sports media through photography, videography, and visual storytelling. This highlight reel captures the energy and emotion of the Indiana State Sycamore Baseball team's 2025–26 season, combining cinematic visuals, dynamic pacing, and music to showcase the dedication, intensity, and camaraderie that define the program.
What Remains
What Remains is the most emotionally challenging project I have created. Inspired by the loss of my grandmother to Alzheimer's disease, this piece explores the lasting impact the disease has on both those who experience it and the loved ones they leave behind. Rather than documenting her illness directly, I chose to focus on the quiet presence of the objects and spaces that remained after her passing. Through visual storytelling, the film reflects on memory, absence, and the enduring connections that persist long after someone is gone.
